Slagharen is celebrating Halloween for the first time this year. During the day Scary Prairie for families and in the evening Western Nightmares for real dare devils
Slagharen, Aug. 31, 2023 - Slagharen Amusement and Holiday Park reveals the names of two new Halloween events: Scary Prairie and Western Nightmares. From Oct. 7 till Oct. 29, families can experience spookiness and fun with Scary Prairie: the Wild West Halloween adventure for all ages during daytime. On eight nights in October, the park will remain open until 10 p.m. for visitors with nerves of steel. During Western Nightmares, guests will face the dark side of the Wild West.
Scary Prairie: where young spirits and old ghosts meet up
By day, it's spooky and fun during Scary Prairie. During this family-friendly party, Slagharen transforms into a merry and vibrant Halloween festival in the middle of the prairie. Guests will be immersed in 3 themed areas: Pumpkin Market, Main Street and Lost Trail. Here they walk into special residents, each with their own story and sometimes a small mission. The well-known Slagharen characters Randy and Rosie perform a special Halloween show in the Music Hall and the afternoon ends with a parade in which children can participate.
Exciting Halloween experiences
During the day, there are three high-quality walkthrough experiences off the park's beaten path. In Outcast Camp, guests enter a camp full of strange western travellers. In straw maze Crows Nest, you'll scream it out of both terror and laughter. Just finding the exit is not enough to leave this maze. In The Manor, children are introduced to the Bones family. Little visitors don’t have to be afraid of this family. This is because in this haunted house the roles are reversed. Will you succeed in scaring the Bones family?
Western Nightmares: 8 scary nights for true daredevils
It is six minutes and six seconds past six. Dusk is falling. Visitors can prepare to come face to face with the dark side of the Wild West. What seemed cheerful and innocent during the day turns out to be one big Western Nightmare. Seventy actors will do everything they can in three terrifying walkthroughs and three scare zones to give guests the nightmare of a lifetime. A recommended age for Western Nightmares is 14 and older.
Three terrifying walkthroughs.
In Outcast Camp, a dubious society has made its appearance. Here it remains to be seen if visitors will get out alive. These wacky residents welcome you with open arms, but will never let you go. Dark crows who have it in for you have occupied Crows Nest. This hay storage is definitely not safe for mortals at night. At night, The Manor is an abandoned villa on the prairie. The spirits that roam here are eagerly seeking new souls…
