Conditions for visitors with disabilities

Applicability

a. These terms and conditions apply to – and form an integral part of – the accessibility policy of Attractie- & Vakantiepark Slagharen.

b. Any deviation from these terms is only possible if explicitly agreed upon in writing by both parties.

Establishment

a. This statement has been established to ensure all visitors have an adventurous day.

b. Visitors with an invisible disability are requested to provide a doctor's certificate or an autism pass along with this statement.

Liability

a. The use of a disabled access wristband is entirely at the visitor's own risk. It is up to the visitor to determine whether they request a wristband and whether they are capable of entering an attraction with it.

Validity of Statement

a. The completed and signed statement must be presented at the Guest Service. Upon presentation of this statement and a valid ID, the visitor will receive a disabled access wristband.

b. With this wristband, the visitor can use the special entrances at the attractions.

c. The issued wristband is only valid on the day the statement is signed.

Accessibility

a. A visitor with a disability can visit the attraction via the exit if they possess a disabled access wristband.

b. The visitor with a disability must (with a purple wristband accompanied by one companion and with a yellow wristband independently) be able to:

i. Enter and exit the attraction;

ii. Complete the ride, including maintaining a specific posture, holding on, and bracing during the ride;

iii. Follow verbal and/or visual instructions;

iv. Evacuate an attraction.

c. The disabled access wristband does not provide priority access to attractions; it is only intended to allow visitors with disabilities to enter attractions through special entrances. The wait times at the special entrance are the same as those of the regular queue.

d. Accompaniment on attractions is only possible if safety requirements are met. If the safety requirements prevent accompaniment, the visitor cannot enter the attraction.

Burden of Proof & Refusal

a. The use of the disabled access wristband is reserved for visitors with a disability. To prevent misuse, Attractie- & Vakantiepark Slagharen reserves the right to randomly and/or in cases of doubt ask the visitor for proof of their disability. Examples of proof include:

i. Disabled parking card;

ii. CIW statement;

iii. NS companion pass;

iv. Doctor's certificate;

v. Institutional statement.

b. Attractie- & Vakantiepark Slagharen reserves the right to refuse access to an attraction to visitors with a disabled access wristband if necessary for the safety of the visitor and/or others. The disabled access wristband does not guarantee that one can or may actually access all attractions.

c. In cases of fraud, misuse, or misconduct, Attractie- & Vakantiepark Slagharen is entitled to deny access to the park and/or block the wristband. In case of denial and/or blocking, no refund of entrance fees will be provided.
