Practical information

Safe boxes are available in the amusement park to store belongings such as a large backpack. Use of the safe boxes is free, but you must provide your own lock to close them. It is also possible to buy a lock at the Guest Service for 5 euros. You will find the lockers next to the attraction Magic Bikes and the Free Fall.

Slagharen Amusement Park is easy to reach by public transport.

Take the train to Hardenberg, Coevorden, Zwolle or Hoogeveen station. From these stations, a bus stops at the bus stop right in front of the entrance to Slagharen Amusement Park.

The amusement park has a first aid post, you can report to the Guest Service at the entrance of the amusement park when you need help.  

There are several AEDs spread throughout the amusement and holiday park. You will find them at the Guest Service, Aqua Mexicana, Sitting Bull Saloon and at the barriers to the holiday park.

Dogs are welcome at the Slagharen Holiday Park, but not inside the attractions, shows, restaurants and shops. Dogs must always be kept on a leash and there is no charge for a day visit.  

Assistance dogs are also welcome if they are recognisable by wearing a dog harness. Assistance or guide dogs are allowed in restaurants and shops  

In the restaurants and other catering establishments, our staff will be happy to inform you about the 14 most important allergens. They can inform you about the following allergens

• gluten-containing cereals
• peanuts
• nuts
• egg
• fish
• soy
• milk
• crustaceans
• molluscs
• celery
• mustard
• sesame seed
• sulphite/sulphur dioxide
• lupine

We can prepare gluten-free dishes in the Big Jake Dinner House, Cartwright's and Music Hall restaurants. You can always ask our staff about special dietary requirements. 

Parking costs are € 10,- per car.. Parking tickets can be bought at the ticket offices and the Guest Service.

Visit Slagharen Amusement Park by bike, scooter or moped. Please park your bicycles for free in the bicycle shelter at the beginning of the main car park.

Slagharen Amusement Park has a number of WiFi sites in the amusement park. This allows you to use WiFi in a large part of the park. Here is an overview of the restaurants with a WiFi spot.

Dropping off or picking up someone at Slagharen Amusement Park ? Enter the main car park on Zwarte Dijk and follow the instructions on the signs for Kiss & Ride. Here you can drop off or pick up someone for free; 

Holiday park guests can visit the supermarket for a wide range of foods and drinks. Medication is also available.

 

Opening hours:

The supermarket is open every day. Please check the supermarket entrance for current opening hours. 

Want to do some laundry during your stay? You can do that in our launderettes 

You will find our launderette with both washing machines and dryers behind the attraction "Gallopers", at the Sitting Bull Saloon and in the camping building. 

The necessary coins are available at the reception of the holiday park in the Sitting Bull Saloon.

Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking areas at Slagharen Amusement Park.

Smoking is only allowed in your own holiday home on the holiday park. Smoking is not permitted inside the holiday homes. 

Everyone wants children to be able to play in a safe and healthy environment. This also means that children can grow up smoke-free. 

Slagharen is one of the first amusement parks to take responsibility by creating a smoke-free park. In this way, young visitors are protected from the temptation of smoking and its harmful effects. 

Right next to the Guest Service at the entrance of the amusement park is a cash machine where you can withdraw money. 

All locations, such as shops and restaurants, have a (free) cash machine. 

Slagharen Amusement Park aims to make as many attractions, holiday homes and facilities as accessible as possible to disabled visitors .
