New in Theme park and Resort Slagharen: The Silver Dollar bar

The arrival of the bar fulfills a long-cherished wish of Slagharen. “This is a space we have missed in our park.” Says CEO Dave Storm. “It is the perfect way to relax after an adventure in the Wild West.” The interior consist of a blend between classic and modern elements. “We call it Western-chic. It's old-fashioned cozy, but totally contemporary." 

The Silver Dollar bar is located at the Main Street in Slagharen, next to the recently renovated arcade Lucky Nugget. For sports enthusiasts, there are tv-screens for football, basketball or formula 1 broadcasts. The tables are equipped with game boards for a game of checkers or Ludo? In addition, guests can play pool while enjoying, for example, a cocktail or a beer.

The opening of the Silver Dollar Bar marks the provisional conclusion of a series of renovations at the park. In addition to the renovation of the Lucky Nugget, the Free Fall, Expedition Nautilus and Gallopers attractions received an upgrade this year. The 4D-cinema El Teatro is running a new movie. All Racoon Lodges in the Resort has new sofas. In hospitality, Slagharen provided digital ordering options and new concepts, including Coca-Cola Freestyle. Furthermore, two new stages were realized, combined with a new entertainment program.

Slagharen is still open every day until Sunday, Oct. 30. After that, the gates will open all weekends and during the entire Christmas vacations. Booking tickets or a stay can be done through slagharen.com.
