This summer, Slagharen Amusement & Holiday Resort will transform into a bustling village from the Wild West of 1860. Get ready for an unforgettable Wild West Summer, a summer festival full of adventure, spectacle and nostalgia, as you know it from cosy village festivals in the Netherlands. 

The highlight of the Wild West Summer is the spectacular stunt battle between three brave cowboys. Who can call themselves the toughest cowboy in Slagharen? Come enjoy musical entertainment from well-known Dutch artists during the 8 Wild West Summer Nights, which are organized on Wednesdays and Saturdays from July 24 to August 17.

The Spectacular Stunt Battle

The highlight of the Wild West Summer is the spectacular stunt battle between three brave cowboys. This legendary battle is presented by our Western Character. Each of the three cowboys is determined to become the best cowboy in Slagharen, but who will win?

Wild West Summer Nights

Enjoy an enchanting backdrop of flags and atmospheric lights, surrounded by the cheerful sounds of music by well-known Dutch artists, you can enjoy a wonderful evening during Wild West Summer Nights. From 24 July to 17 August, eight different artists will perform, on Wednesday and Saturday evenings between 20:00-20:30.

A Western Village festival
